I disagree. I think both parties should remain respectful when negotiating, at least the promoters should since they handle the business. Would you want to work with someone when they keep trying to make you look bad in the public? I think they should save the "finger-pointing" until after it is agreed, or falls through. I'd be more reluctant to work with someone saying negative things about me to the media.

The fighters on the other hand, they can say what they want.
