Khans whole career has been smoke and mirrors.

He's had a good but nothing great career:-

Never been number one in any division

Best victory came against a pre Garcia crude Maidana and it was very close.

Been savagely knocked out in 2 of his losses

His best wins have come across over the hill fighters and he's struggled against fighters he should really of handled easily if he was as good as his hype.

Khan imo realises he's going to struggle against the Thurman's, Brook's and Porter's of the division and has been looking for the big cash out fight fr the last 2 years.

Canelo is going to retire him.

 

He's serious about making some money.

 

Khan was number 1 at 140 when Bradley ran to arum and 147..

Same story we heard about PAC when he was moving up in weight. If khan win then Canelo will become a joke.

True. If Golovkin had the same nuts as Khan, he would have moved up to fight Ward at 168lbs. That cannot be denied.

I do think Khan is past prime though tbh because mentally he's not really in the game anymore. He found a woman and is eager to just cash and bounce as soon as possible. He wanted to retire aged 28, but what's the point of retiring if he could get Canelo, Brook, and if he beats Canelo, Mayweather - 3 massive paydays, win or lose at least 2 massive paydays.

 

If only you chumps knew how much money Khan made in 2015 during his ME and PK tours you'll realise that he doesn't need the money.

 

Khan wore those $50,000 trunks in the Collazo match, as I recall, with Gold threading. He likes that Mayweather money, so he needs more. But I also believe Khan is also concerned about legacy at this stage of his career.

The Brook fight was $5 mil plus 40% of Sky PPV.

He'd likely made close to $8 mil.

How much does he expect to get from GBP.

$2 mil plus 10% of HBO PPV, a total of MAYBE $5-$7 million.


I think this is more a move to be LESS humiliated when he's starched.

He's Garcias mando, and he could possibly beat Garcia, even KO him, and he'd hold the keys to the kingdom sotosay at WW.

Then he could FORCE the higher purse vs Brook in unification.
