Despite this fight being a complete joke on paper (the middleweight champ putting his title on the line against a welterweight at a catch weight) there's a slight off chance it could turn out to be a great event or, at the very least, answer some questions. At least MY questions.

    1. Will Khan be better suited at 155? Chin talk aside, for now, he's taller and longer than Canelo. Add that he rehydrates to the mid-160's from welter, he might fill in well. I know he doesn't have much pop but he's not feather fisted either. Will his power increase when he's cutting less weight?

    2. How well will Khan's chin hold up? I know, I know, Canelo isn't a ko artist. Khan was rocked a few times by Algieri, of all people. I don't believe his chin has "improved" at welterweight. Will Canelo land flush enough times to put Khan out? It only takes that one punch.

    3. Can Canelo handle Khan's speed? Khan has some of the quickest hands in the game and Canelo is pretty flat footed. We've seen Canelo struggle against Trout, Mayweather, and Lara. They're all long, quick, and slick. Khan is only two of those and he's not as defensive. Defensively, how will Canelo handle Khan?

Canelo is a solid counter puncher, if Khan doesn't get him to respect his hands then I expect Canelo to take risks and punch when Khan does. I'm betting most of us see this going one way, but IF Khan is well suited at 155, this fight could be competitive.

This is by no means an endorsement of this fight, just speculation of what could happen. If it is competitive I don't think it'd be fair to criticize Canelo as a fraud, all depends on what happens.

Uhhh no matter the outcome, questions will be answered. Whether you "know" them already or not. Is Pac the only boxer you know?

Dude look at history to come to a complete conclusion about "chins".
Everybody like to use Duran when talking about moving up, well Duran started getting knocked out when he moved up to Middleweight. Khan has been knocked out at 135,140, and ducked anybody that could hurt him for small money at 147.

Now you guys expect his chin to hold up because he will be heavier is ridiculous. He will be K.O.'d to sleep.:dead
The only bet that should be placed is what round will be hit the deck and what color stretcher will he be placed on.

You should re-read. I never said his chin WILL hold up and even acknowledged I don't believe it has "improved".

I bet between 168-172. He will try to look smaller so he can use that excuse against Golovkin.

Any less than Canelo By Ko within the first few rounds would be a huge achievement by khan.

Khan will be weaker (hasn't KO'd anyone at WW)

Khan's chin will not hold up (it's never been good)

Khan will be slower, he already looks slower and yes Canelo will easily handle his speed.

Answers right there my friend. They've been starring everyone in the face for a while.

Khan is not as dedicated not and he was not paticularly great at welterweight.

    It will answer this question:

Is Khan a Future Hall of Famer and an ATG at Middleweight?
