Golovkin beat Murray (who beat Sturm and Martinez). Murray was a huge middleweight.

GGG was too busy having a successful amateur career, 345-5.

Son, I was watching people create false dichotomies when the usernames "King Khan" and "Undefeated Gaul"
were flickering lights in your brain. As for creating my own, go ahead and provide some examples. I'll wait.

Crawford's fought large weight cutting lightweights (Beltran) in addition the undefeated former world champion that was still considered one of the better pure talents in the sport. Over the past couple of years, he's fought a decent collection of foes, and while he may or may not earn p4p status, he certainly looks like he has a promising future.

So chill out watch...I'm sure he'll fight someone you think is worthwhile in the near future. If he does, it'll be interesting to see if you acknowlege it should he win, or whether you'll move the goalposts and dismiss that opponent as being a "can", too.

Everybody look out, Raymundo Beltran is a big name..

Wait a sec..do you think I used to be King Khan? I remember hearing that accusation before. I honestly wasn't around ESB during King Khan's reign, but I'm guessing he was a HOF poster in that case.

All of the names I listed that Crawford hasn't fought yet are actually B graders, anyway. Crawford is in grade C-town.

King khan was a different animal altogether, Drew is picking up on a "false resemblance"

    And...there go the goalposts.

Crawford gets accused of feasting on smaller guys, and when he follows up by fighting someone bigger (and who was considered an uncrowned king at the weight) and shuts 'em out, the opponent stops being worthwhile. Could have seen that response coming a mile away through the fog.

And King Khan wasn't a HOF caliber poster...merely a legend in his own mind. Guess that's why I might have made that connection...:D

Similar posting style, though. At least, during those times when KK wasn't melting down after a Khan loss...

DID HE GET PAID FOR WASTING HIS YOUTH AWAY, FIGHTING IN THE AMS?

At least the Cubans have an excuse for fighting old being that they come from a communist country. Gennady was free to turn pro anytime and has less of a fan base than Adrien Broner even with a Apple commercial.

I know, right? No reason why someone can't like both fighters. They're both fun to watch in their own respective way.

He was likely beating on 17 and 18 year old kids in the amateurs.

    GGG doesn't seem very ambitious.

He had a big money fight with Canelo at 155 and let that slip away...now he's fighting Wade for s****s.

    :patsch
