    Bob foster would win
    Ezzard Charles would win
    Harold Johnson would win
    Archie Moore would win
Billy Conn would be a good fight 50/50
    I'd favor Spinks
I'd say Harry greb but don't wanna go into the film argument..

    But Kov still has time

I would pick most atg light-heavyweights to beat Kovalev. Wins over Pascal and "Pops" Hopkins don't put you in the conversation with atgs in my opinion.

Difficult to say. Kovalev does look like a monster, but I never like to blow things out of proportion. 50 year old Hopkins IS his best win, whether people like it or not.

This doesn't mean that Kovalev isn't a great fighter. I think he definitely is. I'd put him in a top 10 ATG LHW list. But you can't favor him over guys like Spinks, Charles, Moore, Foster yet.

It would take a man with good footwork, footspeed, and punching power. Nowadays we don't have anyone like that (Ward doesn't have the power), but there are a few guys from the past whom I'd pick to beat Kovalev.

    Ezzard Charles:

    Archie Moore:

    Michael Spinks:

    Gene Tunney:

One thing is for sure: there is no way Kovalev could go through that gauntlet without 2 losses.

    I would add;

    Michael Moorer
    Roy Jones jr.
    Antonio Tarver
    Virgil Hill

    Interesting thoughts Pugilist

Sergey punch the power render master technician like granite beard Hopkins terrified and completely on defence

Once any of these ATGs gets hit by a flush Kovalev punch they are gonna be in similar situation

Kovalev is master technician, master athelete, and hits like tank

Ant 175 in history is in for hell

Kovalev literally has nothing for Ward technically but he is big strong, durable and powerful.

    Moorer, Jones and Tarver? Yes.

Hill is a 50/50 fight, IMO...
