na ive already roasted gimp for it.

to say charles, foster, moore, foster, spinks with confidence can beat kovalev is fair enough.

to say he loses to every decent lhw holder of the last 30years is a joke, unless he can back it up.

they think that kovalev with atomic bombs and the skills to land em cant upset these guys.
i aint thrown off at all, i see how good he is. its very hard to nullify kovalev.

Qawi was a beast he'd definitely beat Kov. He gave a prime Spinks and Holyfield hell and wasn't afraid of heavyweights. Quick hands and could crack too.

Qawi would put Kovalev through a meat-grinder. I am still wondering what Kovalev has done to be rated so high.

the problem with kovalev for some people is that he didn't fight 100 years ago and had barely any footage of him and a few newpaper reports. if kovalev had that some of these guys would consider him an all time great

they throw the ATG names at you in attempt to make you back down

it is similar to GGG - throw Hagler or Monzon at him and most people will cower into corner - he cannot possibly compete with these men

things get interesting when you refuse to take that stance and fight back

there is no 175 in history i would confidently pick to beat Kovalev

there is no 160 in history i would confidently pick to beat Golovkin

    Delusional nostalgics at work again.

Kovalev would butcher the likes of Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore by the virtue of being a 21st century elite athlete. Saying that they would beat him is like saying Jesse Owens would outsprint Usain Bolt or that Italian national football team from WC 1934 would beat German national football team from WC 2014. Those guys had caveman training and lived in a time when people thought smoking is actually good for your health.

I guess some people are just to stupid to grasp the concept of progress.

There's a reason why in every sport records get broken all the time with every new era. Modern boxing is far superior to any boxers in the past, yet by logic of some people all the advancements in sports science, training methods, facilities, equipment, nutrition and physiotherapy count for nothing even though there is massive empiric evidence of progress in every sport where you can measure it objectively (olympic records have all been improved in recent years).
