After what happened in Dublin how do people view the future for MGM?

For example what - if any - will be the effect on the upcoming Matthews-Flanagan fight?

Will Wazzen return to the Banana Republic, soon? ever?

Will fighters leave MGM? Be put off joining them? etc etc

    Please advise.....:good

given the lack of pro opportunities got irish amateurs I don't know if this will put fighters off of signing as they might not have any other decent options.

in fact if they snap up a lot of the irish talent after the next Olympics(which they could) they could be come massive players

OK But a guy who does well in the Olympics will have options - given recent events do you think a Barnes or a Conlon etc would still go ahead with MGM? Maybe they would - just asking..

they wouldn't turn out in force for an irish traveller, that was bound to happen especially when he was facing a gypsy, people will expect trouble at events like that and avoid it

however the likes of paddy barnes, michael conlon, steven Donnelly etc after the next Olympics could draw huge crowds

I can't think of why you'd sign with MGM. It's one thing to have a stable propped up with dodgy money but another to have the fighters in said stable personally involved in underworld related violence.

This is what has happened and who would want to get involved in that if you have a promising career ahead of you?

not necessarily, conlon will have options but barnes not so much being lower in weight. and from our last Olympic class only 1 out of 5 turned over.

and barnes and conlon have both been training and sparring in mgm

the screen name doesn't jump to mind ,is he a troll?

ya andy is a likeable lad but the vast majority of casual fans in Ireland here that a gypsy is fighting a traveller and they are expecting 15000 plus and the first thing that comes to mind is complete chaos

yes as I said no one is going to go to an event in Ireland of a gypsy fighting an irish traveller it would more than likely be complete mayhem
