I fail to see any major differences between Ruiz and Kanvalev except for the fact that Ruiz had the better resume.

Which proves that YDKSAB. Punching power is *meaningless* if you can't find the target and Roy's speed and reflexes were otherworldly.

    Lol.

A left cross from an orthodox fighter? LMAO.

Sure thing, Einstein. Whatever you say...

yes. of course. do you believe roy can take any of kovalevs punches?

people still sleep on kovalevs distance control timing and strength.

Listen he stopped agnew with a body jab, he switched and knocked him down with a switching left cross.

He put pascal down with a jab in the 2nd, he almost killed him in the 1st fight. never was stopped.

first man to drop hopkins. jones couldnt do that in his prime.

he made cleverly so drunk with punches, he had to be carried back to his corner. lol cleverly isnt a push over.

these are all tough, game fighters.

kovalev would land, of course if he gets caught he can be stopped.

firepower means alot, kovalev barely landed on sillakh he grazed him with that cuffing jab and sillakh was finished. the next right hand was brutal.

Roy jones is a very dangerous fighter ofc. Id back kovalev though by ko.

    LOL.

Kanvalev lands a punch from the southpaw stance on a TOMATO KAN and I'm supposed to believe that means he does the same against a guy who spent 10 years as the P4P #1 fighter in the world? Excuse me while I.....

    LOL

Keep trolling, Einstein. The ditch you're digging is only getting deeper...

Why wouldn't Jones land on Kovalev first since he has much faster hands and feet than Kovalev? The problem I have with Kovalev is that his defense isn't that good and I am not convinced that his chin is that great either. I think Jones would have a much easier time getting to Kovalev than vice-versa.

Roy would go like this but much, much worse against the Great NO HOPE KOvalev:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBW-CkMZVdc

Soil the great Kovalev's name with mention of that guy in the same sentence.

Not even the best Roids or IVs would make a difference either.

Then this essentially means that you believe Roy would win the fight. Jones lands his money punch, the left hook, on Kanvalev at will. Meanwhile, the TOMATO KAN Krusher spends the evening swinging at nothing but AIR. Jones is simply too fast to get touched by someone as SLOW as Kanvalev and Roy's chin was good enough to see him win a title @ HW.

    Jones >>> TOMATO KAN Krusher

hahahaha, im talking about is ability to hurt people from unorthodox positions and able to generate the power is amazing. that was a long left cross.
whilst roy jones beat on three good fighters, hopkins, toney, and shot mccallum. his trip to hw wasnt impressive. he could of stayed there, he decided to come back and tarver smashed his skull from him.

    tarver dont hit like kovalev.

featherfisted plodder johnson then does the same.

damn its a pattern but roy is shot hes weight drained, and so he goes to put weight back on.

at 200lbs he then gets ****ed up once again. But the KO'S took alot out of him, hes old and overweight.

Roy never fought a elite puncher in his prime. A true puncher. Toney had some power, some.... Kovalev is up there with the upper echelons.
    at its not just power.

he had a chin good enough to dodge a slow ponderous grabber like ruiz, then a chin bad enough to be ****ed up by journeyman plodder johnson. :rofl:patsch
