Provided that Pacquiao gets by Bradley and doesn't actually retire. Hopefully Terence is up for it this time.

But Crawford supposedly turned Pac down for this upcoming fight. How do we know he won't do it again?

He can say what he wants im sure thats what arums wants for crawford to take the torch

But Pac said to the world and infront of arum he will be hanging up his gloves and it really looked like he ment he has made tons of money and now will be focused on politics if he had nothing else i would be worried but he has anther outlet............

The bradley fight will be his last fight unless mayweather wants to dance again..........

What a great fighter i will really miss Pac fighting

We don't, which is why I said hopefully Crawford doesn't turn it down again. Crawford is the same as Danny Garcia in it that both guys are more about the preserving the zero than making a windfall of cash. Crawford knows that his stock plummets if he agrees to fight Pac and loses.

Crawford didn't turn it down the first time, BM. What good does a "zero" do when you avoid the biggest potential payday of your career? Iceberg Arum just squeezing the most out of Pac before he puts him in the old ho's home.

Yes, he did. He and his team kept saying that they wanted to carve out their own legacy and didn't need Pacquiao.

Look at Cherry Garcia... the world knows that he got punished and beat by Herrera AND PEDerson, yet it's that 0 in the L column that keeps him relevant. Cherry and his dad have never once even come out and said they want a Mayweather fight. Not once. It's because they are content on cruising. He might make 3-4 million fighting and losing to Floyd, but he'd make crumbs after that.

Cherry made 2 million fighting Casper. 1.5 for PEDerson and 700K for Salka.

    :deal

Please provide a cite or link where Crawford or his people turned this fight down. Not some off the cuff comment from Roach or Arum.

    Direct quote from Team Crawford:

"No disappointment because Terence is going to make his own legacy. We don't need Pacquiao to make his legacy."

They accused Postol, Herrera, and Provodnikov of ducking Terence, but not Pac.

smh. That's after Arum chose Bradley. Come on, you can do better than that.

Translation: Crawford told Arum that he wants a big fight, so Arum tells him I'll try and get you a Pacquiao matchup. But Arum really has no intentions of making that fight happen and prematurely risk damaging Crawford's economic viability should he lose to Pac. So Arum publicly sets the stage for the fight yet privately steers Pac in other matchup directions. This is what I suspect happened prior to Pac-Bradley III being finalized.

And in the off chance that Pac insists on fighting Crawford, Arum at least gets to keep the match in house and prevent Pac from exploring possibilities against non Top Rank fighters. He really is pulling all the strings here.

Doesn't matter, Bradley will win. Bradley is a great fighter and Manny has degraded too much to keep winning against him.
