Tony Thompson has Massive cojones.

He really deserves huge respect. And indeed prime Thompson was a better fighter than Martin, Glazkov, Szpilka who fought for a world title just a few weeks back. And maybe even Wilder.

 

That's why he failed the drug test. He didn't apply for the TUE nor fill in the paperwork. I'm not sure what the rules are for changing to an NC, but he did get a 2 year ban by the BBBoC for it and from whoever staged the Pulev fight

 

So is TT fighting in March vs KKong and then KKong is fighting who in April?

He should be facing Ustinov in May or June. The winner of that fight gets a shot as a WBA mandatory against the Fury/Klitschko II winner. Ortiz might very well be world champ by the end of the year, I give him a fair chance against both Fury and Klit.

 

don't forget he repeatedly called out fury, who wanted no part of him. thompson is old school, not even a thought of avoiding another fighter enters his head.
