    A joke.

This T-1000 that you speak of, was dropped by Darnell Boone.

He was laid out in the amateurs.

In the first Pascal fight, he was repeatedly hit with wild, overhand rights. But luckily for him, there was no leverage on them.

A guy with Roy's speed, variation and accuracy, would have had no issue in tagging him.

Come back to us when he's beaten better guys than Jean Pascal and a 50 year old Bernard Hopkins.

Ward was also dropped by Boone. Kovalev knocked out Darnell Boone in 2 rounds, the guy that KO'ed stevenson. KO'ed a lot of guys. He said Kovalev was by far the most murderous punching.

He was laid out in the amateurs: So have lots of great champions, hell Roy gets knocked out every few years in the Professionals. He was the victim of arguably the greatest knockout ever, Tarver 2.

In the first Pascal fight, he was repeatedly hit with wild, overhand rights. But luckily for him, there was no leverage on them: He was hit because Pascal is so wild. They were nothing punches and had no effect. Meanwhile Pascal was nearly knocked out in the third and had to face a laughing Kovalev as he stumbled around drunk on Kovs punch later on. The second fight was an abomination as Kov turned him into a helpless child. A disturbing performance.

A guy with Roy's speed, variation and accuracy, would have had no issue in tagging him. Please, he would need to get in range of Kovalev and kovalev would then take his head off. Roy would be an easy fight for Kovalev.

Come back to us when he's beaten better guys than Jean Pascal and a 50 year old Bernard Hopkins: A 50 year old Hopkins is still better than most and Kovalev dominated him in every way. Ward, if the guy doesn't injure out or come up with some other excuse will soon be up for destruction. Let's hope he doesn't chicken out.

    He was dropped by Boone.

He was repeatedly tagged by Pascal in their first fight.

    Here's a highlight of Roy's hand speed:

    Stop generalising.

If the modern athlete/boxers are so superior, how come many of today's guys are gassed after the half way mark?

If we returned to 15 round fights, many of today's supposedly superior athletes would struggle like hell.

And Kovalev isn't destroying Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis, based on the fact that today's sprinters are the fastest of all time.

Only a fool would compare men racing on a 200m athletic track, to two men fighting each other.

It's always relevant in a discussion about Roy and KOs imo.

    Just all wrong?

    Roy was much faster.

    He used more variation.

He was extremely elusive in his prime.

He had great athleticism, throwing lead shots from unorthodox angles.

He too possessed one punch knockout power in either hand.

    Sergey isn't the Terminator.

    He's been dropped before.

    He's easy enough to hit.

    He isn't really fast.

Again, at 27 years of age, he could only beat Boone by an S/D. And that was a guy who'd lost 15 fights at that point. Yet this is the guy who you think would have blown away Roy in his mid 20's?

As yet, Roy would had to have been favoured.

I don't know if Kovalev is a harder hitter than what Ruiz was at 230 plus pounds.
