prime for prime, only Lennox comes to mind.

Byrd was an example of a careful craftsman flawlessly defending himself and forcing the opponents shoulder to give out. It was was a one time deal and in my opinion, if Byrd faced Vitali 9 more times, he would lose all 9.

I re watched that fight recently. Byrd truly was a master defense artist, a David toying with Goliaths, always one mistake away from a disaster. Vitali wouldn't be able to knock him out but he would win on points - as the wide points lead indicates at the time of the stoppage.

    Ibeabuchi would have murdered Vitali.
To stop that threat, they would have to use the mob to set Ike up with a fake **** charge. Hey, wait...

I think Tyson Fury has a good style vs Vitali. Early in his career Vitali faught Hoffman who won some rounds and had Vitali's eyes swolen up. Fury has a somewhat similar style and height but does everything better than Hoffman.

I feel people quoting Byrd and Lennox are somewhat trolling. Both won against Vitali. But Vitali would be heavily favored against Byrd in a remtach. In a rematch Lewis vs Vitali Lewis would be slightly favored but the odds would still be pretty close.

Hoffman was right after the Byrd injury, was he 100%? I doubt it. I don't see Fury as a serious challenge vs prime Vitali. Lewis fans can claim all they want but he ran away rather than settle the issue which was not settled by a cut given the three judges and boos for Lewis in the ring.

I don't think it's trolling. The question wasn't really that specific. Those 2 guys in fact beat VK. Prime for prime I believe there are a handful of others that would beat him as well

Fury-Vitali would be an ugly fight. Two tall guys who are awkward as hell.

Vitali Klitschko were just like Wladimir prone to cuts. Also Corrie Sanders rocked him, thus proved he could go down.

Fighters like Lennox Lewis that could beat him via cuts:

    Tyson Fury
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Lennox Lewis
    Hughie Fury
    Kubrat Pulev

    Riddeck* Bowe
    Andrew Golota

Fighters like Corrise Sanders that could beat him via TKO:

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Lennox Lewis
    Corrie Sanders
    Joseph Parker
    Anthony Joshua

    Deontay Wilder
    Tony Thompson
    Robert Helenius

How exactly? Stunning someone doesn't prove they can be knocked down. Knocking them down proves it :patsch

    Ali (1967) - 80 %
    Foreman (1974) - 75 %
    Lewis (2000) - 70 %
    Tyson (1986) - 50 %
    Holiefield (1996) - 40 %

Supposing Vitaly is in prime (2003 ?)...........

rocked by a 38 year isn't exactly proof of great chin either.

come to think of it, being a titlist in the ring with a 38 year old who won nothing,is really telling you they have weaknesses they are trying to hide.

He rocked him and some argues it should have counted as a legit knockdown.

Everyone can get knocked down. Mostly thanks to Vitali's usual height advantage he wasn't tested enough.

However the big guys with power that he actually fought caused him problems, just as one would have expected.

    Sanders and Lewis.

Well the ref and judges didn't argue it as a KD, so it's irrelevant what some armchair expert argues. Fact is, he wasn't dropped or even close.

So neither knocked him down though did they? No. If the uppercut Lennox landed on him isn't enough of a test, then clearly you have an agenda against not believing in his chin.
