When I was an apprentice engineer and an amateur boxer in the 70s an old fella (in his 60s) told me he'd seen wee Benny bounce tough little Jackie Brown all over the ring in Manchester.
My dad was a big fan of Jimmy Wilde for me it's was wee Benny. My dad told me the Welshman seldom weighed over 7 stone at his pomp.
Nowadays with google, boxrec etc etc we can see what Wilde weighed, but If my dad was right i couldn't see him giving Lynch a stone in weight.
Lynch was like a tinier version of Henry Armstrong with better feet and the energy of a Jack Russell terrier.
Lynch had boundless energy, a ko punch in his left hook, a beautiful boxing style, granite chin, Joe Louis style poker face and a big heart, I wouldn't bet against him being Britain's best ever.

Dempsey had the same measurements as Lamont Brewster.

So he does stand a chance vs Wlad.

Holyfield vs Frazier would be value for money.

    Ali/Holmes (one for the purists).

If Jimmy Young shadowboxed in front of a mirror in the middle of a forest,...

...would he fall in a coma, or time would start running backwards?:think
