Is Condre Ward holding out so he can face a last minute replacement?

    We are about a month and a half away until the Diva is scheduled to fight. Do you feel Condre is holding out in hopes he doesn't have to face Barrera so he can take on a last minute replacement on short notice? He was after all attempting to do this for the PPV undercard he was supposed to be on.

    Why is Condre the common denominator when it comes to contract issues?

    his ped cycle is still showing traces of HGH and wants its all out of his system he will then sign for the fight and tests..

    What I find strange about Condres recent tweet "you ain't getting rich off of us buddy" is the fact that he is neither manager or promoter. Condre is set to make 2 mill no matter what. If Barrera is thrown a bone and given a few more bucks Condre will still make 2 mill. He does not control the check book nor the promotion. As a fighter he should be focused on training and preparation not what the other guy is getting.

    IMO Condre planted a seed early on to avoid this fight because he is cornered in having to face someone with a pulse. HBO won't accept the no name out of shape SMWs that he really wants face.

    There is actually 6 weeks and 4 days until Ward's proposed fight date. Suffice to say at this point everything should have been finalised.

    One of 2 things could be possibly delaying the fight. RN and Ward could be making it difficult and delaying completion due to inexperience and incompetence or Duva and Barrera are trying squeeze more cash out of RN.

    If it's the 2nd reason they are doing so with the knowledge that Ward has no other good options at short notice and they simply don't have a choice other than to pay more for Barrera or risk a last minute opponent coming in who HBO or the commission may not agree to and then risk s****ping the proposed March 26th date which would be a disaster.
