So he flat out sacrificed poor Mitchell then.

 

I felt really sorry for him losing in the manner he did in front of his home fans against Katsidis and then the following year he was blasted out early again by Burns. That must've been devastating for him and really dented his self-confidence. I respect the fact that he was able to pick himself back up after those crushing setbacks in short succession and come so close to fulfilling his dream. That takes a lot of character.

 

That's a real risky fight for Crolla too.

I don't think I even knew Mitchell was on that card until about 5 minutes before he was due out. I'd never heard of Barroso before so I had a quick glance at his record and I immediately got a bad feeling as soon as I saw his KO percentage lol

 

It wouldn't surprise me. To be honest I've only seen Crolla fight a handful of times. I think I've tuned in to quite a few of his fights but for some strange reason I lose interest in them and just end up browsing through threads on here instead.

 

I remember it very well. It was horrendous.

 

From the little I've seen of Silva he looks decent, definitely decent enough to give Verdejo a few problems.

 

Yeah that happens with me with a lot of featherfisted Brits in the lower divisions, but I like a sado masochist force myself to watch most of them. I've seen Crolla fight maybe 4 or 5 times and I tend to zone out as well. But he's not as bad as Jack Caterall and Josh Warrington.:scaredas::zzz
