Did that campaign ever actually end?

In the rare chance it did, I'd imagine another was already started the moment I started singing. So I'm embracing the damned if I do, damned if I don't take on things.

I think its called morbid curiosity. Kind of like how we all want to look at a car accidents.

Matthysse-Herrera and Vargas against possibly Salido is well worth the cost of a PPV.

No, it's not that for me. I actually think Khan can have some stretches of success against Canelo and that he can maybe possibly make him even look bad. One factor I meant to touch on in the video that I forgot to mention was stamina. Khan is actually a well conditioned guy, and Canelo has always seemed "spurty" to me. I meant to expand on that more, but didn't.

The size and Khan's lack of focus will be his undoing. But for practical purposes, Khan is moving from 147 to 154. He could win rounds against Canelo, and if he fought intelligently and was dedicated to a strict game plan, he can even string together a couple of rounds.

I'm not sure that he will, as I do ultimately believe the two key points I mentioned: size and lack of focus/discpline. Those would be Khan's undoing likely in any case.

But I've never been big on Canelo, and I've always thought Khan is a guy who tends to be a tad more underrated on the whole (when you weed out those who grossly over- and under- rate him).

Without meaning to start any debates on what the worth of a PPV cost should entail, I'll agree that those bouts certainly add some value to the cost.

Imagine what this place would look like in the weeks following if something like that actually happened.

I like that opening sequence of GGG's jab landing over and over onto Lemieux. Highlights both GGG's accuracy as well as Lemeiux's stiffness.

Also great breakdown on Khan's strengths and weaknesses. Focus is a huge one. Probably his main one.

I agree I think Khan will do better than most see to think he will, but like you said eventually he'll get caught, I don't like Khan I never have, but he is skilled as hell, skilled enough to give Canelo a few issues, I definitely think he'll last longer than Kirkland, but as per usual he'll get caught do a chicken dance and go down, probably several times.

So for me its a combination of wanting to see Khan KO'd and if he can make Canelo look bad. Because Canelo deserves t for defending his MW title against a LWW.

Pointless fight. Even if Khan out boxes Canelo he would never get the decision. Only way Khan can win is with a knockout, which I don't see happening.

Agreed with that, and think I mentioned that in the video.

A best case scenario for Khan sees him eeking out a close decision over 12, where he deserves something like 7-5, but winds up losing 9-3 on 2 cards, and 11-1 on the 3rd.

Unless it's something freaky involving a cut or a serious injury, I can't see it happening either. Canelo isn't the best boxer out there, but he has always seemed tough and durable to me.

Good video. Khan can actually do something in this fight despite all the negativity towards him. Stylistically, Khan could do something extraordinary here if he sticks to his game plan, uses movement, speed, smart clinching and never exchanging when he doesn't need to. Alvarez doesn't exactly possess the overly aggressive style that would blow Khan the hell out. He tends to wait and pause in there which should help Khan develop a rhythm and actually do something in there. Of course, all of that could change when one single clean power shot lands but you never know. All the pressure is on Alvarez here rather than Khan, which should give Khan some much needed confidence going into this fight.

This fight kind of reminds me of the negativity surrounding Pacquiao before he fought DLH and even though I picked Pacquiao to win, I wasn't confident and was very negative towards that fight. That fight's shocking result might have opened my mind up in this one rather than completely overlooking Khan. Sure, the smart bet here is Alvarez by KO(my prediction too), but I honestly won't be overly surprised if Khan shows up and shocks everyone, even in losing.

I'm definitely looking forward to this fight. Very gutsy move by Khan even if everyone is overlooking him and claiming he just wants to cash out. Remember, he still has to exchange blows with a murderous fighter to get that payday so it's not exactly a free "cash out" and Khan isn't known to bowing down or jobbing for anyone. He's going in there to give it his all.
