Daigo Higa: Sprite War Machine Of The Ryukyu Islands-The Flyweight Man From Okinawa.

Daigo Higa is a 20 year old Flyweight with a 10-0 10 KO's record. Born in Urasoe, Okinawa, Japan and fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. This little guy is vicious, he puts his head down and walks his opponents down grinding away at them from the opening bell. That's not to say he lacks skill, he works behind his jab quit efficiently and has a decent peek a boo defense, he's fairly solid all around. The majority of his early matches was against no namers but when he stepped up and took on the very talented solid prospect Kongfah CP Freshmart in a back and forth slugfest low level Fight Of The Year contender, and won by stoppage and picked up the vacant WBC Youth World Flyweight title with the win. That proved he's pretty legit and a force to be reckoned with in the Flyweight Divisions, how far will he go? That remains to be seen, maybe Kongfah was a hypejob, but in my personal opinion he isn't, so I rate that as a good win, he's still pretty young and they shouldn't rush him into a match with anyone too dangerous too soon, especially with his come forward pressure fighting style, but I think he can manage some mid level guys for the next year or so.
