Herzog is one of a kind, makes movies when he feels he should on a valuable topic, not when he needs the money.

caves of forgotten dreams in 3d - u get to "walk into" and see the home cave of an early lost civilisation, something u'll never do in real life. U can reach out and touch the walls almost.

    Serge,

I think the 1st series of BB was in 2008. But I'd never heard of it until 2012. Someone recommended it to my girlfriend. When she played the first episode, I didn't really watch it. I only half watched it because I was on here. It was just on in the background. But then I got into it from the 2nd episode, and then I was absolutely hooked. I couldn't believe how great it was. We were watching 6 episodes back to back each weekend. It was heaven. Watching that with a takeaway was better than going out drinking down town. The only problem was, the final season was split, and the 2nd part of it wasn't aired until the summer of 2013. So we'd watched 4 and a half seasons, but then had to wait almost a year to watch the final episodes. It was torture.

Yes, Mike was great in it. I loved all of the characters. Besides Walt, my favourite was Saul.

It's one of the best things I've ever watched in my life.

I can only think of one thing that was better than that. And if you haven't watched it, you HAVE to:

    The Wire.

    Have you ever seen it?

I thought it was absolutely incredible.

If you're interested, just read the brief synopsis.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wire

My girlfriend loves Game of Thrones. I've watched a few, but I can't really get into it.

I've not heard of that mate, I'll check it out. Thanks.

    Wow!

I can't tell you how grateful I am for the above info mate. That's really nice of you, I can't believe you've even posted up all the links.

Thank you so much mate, I really appreciate that.

Me and my girlfriend watched Making a Murderer at Christmas. We watched 5 episodes back to back one night until 3am, and then watched the others the following day.

Oh my. I was literally screaming at the TV.

Think of Joe taunting Roy in 2008, then times that by 1000.

That was my reaction to Ken Kratz.

I'm not exaggerating, I was so engrossed in it, it actually spoilt a part of my Christmas. It literally affected my sleep. I was up all night going through everything in my mind, and going on Reddit until 4am, reading the debates people were having.

In the end, I wished that I'd never seen it. I've only just got over it.

    It was unbelievable.

When I see my girlfriend later, I'll show her your post, and we'll read through the links together and choose what to watch over the weekend. She loves Netflix.

Thank you once again mate for being so kind.

If you haven't watched The Wire, please give it a go.

We'll definitely watch one of your recommendations, and when we have, I'll get back to you.

The Wire is the best TV show ever filmed. Hands down.

    It was something else.

I want to watch it all again, but my girl has already seen it twice in it's entirety.

Has there ever been a better TV character than Omar?

I still go on YouTube every now and again to watch his clips, especially when he's in court testifying against Bird.

    What about Clay Davis?

    Oh my.

    "sheeeeeeeit"

We better talk about Roy and Lennox before the thread gets pulled.

Roy would have lured him in with a chicken move, before jumping up 2 feet in the air and landing a lead left hook on Lennox.

    Roy - KO round 3.

On a serious note, I think Roy could possibly have made it a good few rounds before getting caught.

Even though he was more of a secondary character, Bubbles' storyline is probably my favourite. Superb writing all-around.

    Ha!

I watched BB and refused to believe that anything could be better than that. But The Wire is amazing. It's more diverse, more characters in it.

Seriously, give it a go, but don't try and compare them. Just forget about BB while you're watching it. You'll soon get hooked. The characters are fantastic.

I didn't actually realize it was that old, as in the first series being aired in 2008.

    Yes Saul is great too.

Thanks I've heard a lot very good things about The Wire and a couple of my mates have recommended that to me as well. I will definitely get round to watching it, although it won't be for a while as I have loads of other stuff I have to catch up on.

It really is fantastic once you get into it. Great characters, script, acting, story etc.

    No problem, you're welcome.

Yeah it's very addictive and it stays with you long after you've seen it.

Ken Kratz is a slimy POS and he has a very punchable face indeed.

The two defence lawyers were brilliant though, especially the tall one. He should go into acting as he has a certain kind of coolness and charisma about him. He was super slick.

The scene with Brendan Dassey where he was being interrogated by the police was heartbreaking. That said I'm still not sure if they're innocent or not.

    You're welcome.

PS. Roy deserved to be clowned in that fight. Joe did it for what Roy did to those poor dogs, roosters and the lizard he hurled to its death. :good
