Sky would probably big it up as some huge clash of the Titans to try and sell it but is it really that big a fight ?

    I don't think so.

Intriguing yes but it's no Froch Groves or Benn Eubank.

Also Brook needs to get on with his career and forget about Khan and stop mentioning it every time he is interviewed, it's getting boring now.

It's still a huge fight now. Not sure how anyone can deny it and yes Kell does not need to mention khan anymore but it's kinda difficult when the media always ask him about Amir Khan.

Don't blame kell for answering questions put in front of him.

I think that fights gone now.
Khan didn't go near a gym for 7 months after Algieri. His next fight could be his last.

Lost a lot of interest in the fight, I think could well disappoint if it happened now as many would expect them to stand and trade which is very unlikely.

The ship has sailed I think.

If Khan beats a dangerous fighter in Canelo, and Kell beats another undeserving mandatory it should be MEGA!

The negations for that fight will be hilarious.

Potential Lineal MW champ who beat the third biggest name in the game bargaining with a WW Champ who hasn't beaten a single name that wasn't an IBF mandatory.:lol::lol::lol:

If Khan looks okay against Canelo it will be big. If he gets destroyed it won't be so huge. Khan could be seen as a ruined by Canelo.

No reason it can't be as big as Froch-Groves. People are looking back upon their second fight with rose-tinted specs. No one thought of it as some kind of untouchable super fight until it sold out Wembley (which beforehand most were saying was too ambitious a choice of venue). Have to give credit to Matchroom an Sky for the hype job they did on the casuals. They would do the same with Khan-Brook. In fact I think there's every chance it would be bigger.

Granted this is pretending that Canelo didn't come into the picture. If as expected Khan gets smashed then a Brook fight will be no where near as big. If he wins then it's bigger...but probably won't happen. Chances are there's a rematch clause and I expect Floyd will come out of retirement for him as well. Even failing these factors Haymon will keep him tied up somehow. Khan just wants a couple of pay days before retiring, albeit ones less likely to lead to embarrassment.

Yeah I agree that Brook keeps getting asked the question but for me he should just say 'I'm forgetting about Khan now and focusing on defending my title and moving on'.

I think Khan knows how much Brook wants the fight so it will always be there, it's like a retirement fund to fall back on for him.

Yeah ship has sailed for me if the fight had happened after Brook beat Porter or Dann then fair enough but now hes fighting yet another b level guy and Khan is fighting Canelo

IF and its a massive if KHan beats Canelo and Brook could KO Garcia or Thurman or someone similar then that would reignite some interest but I just don't see it happening now. Brook is quickly going the way of Junior Witter. Talented but never going to cross over to the main stream and never really getting the big fights he might have deserved

After canelo what weight will khan fight at? Not mw but will he fight at lmw as moving back down 147 may be too hard

Brook is in limbo now- he doesn't seem to fancy fighting in the States and his promoter can't seem to get any names over here. Add into the mix the IBF enforcing frankly odd mandatories and he's not in a great position.

If somehow Khan beats Canelo the Brook fight will likely never happen. If he loses it's possible but I always get the impression that Khan would just draw things out further, chasing fights that are never likely to happen.

    :good

Oh well, at least we can look forward to Brook having rematches with his mandatories and a potential trilogy with Carson Jones.:lol:
