so Wade was their first choice? are you forgetting Johnson pulled out due to injury and Saunders priced himself out? or are you conveniently leaving out those facts to suit your agenda?

 

It is a shame, but as you say it is the era. its all about financial achievment now and no longer about sporting achievment. All these "career paths" are forged on making most money with the least threat. A loss on a record, a world title lost contribute to some revenue loss so they have no qualms about ducking certain opposition. It is ruining this sport big time.

 

By the way I find it utterly stupid that IBF pushes a mando on GGG the same way he pushed Glazkov on Fury. If someone wins a belt in a unification bout, he should not be forced to defend it earlier than a full year.

 

Does it even matter? Wade has fought three 10 rounders and you justify that because the IBF says so? What kiund of GGG fan are you? None that I've ever met in person I'll tell you that...real GGG fans would probably hurt you for the overrated comments you've stated thus far.

I am not happy about this fight, I'd rather see GGG fight Saunders or even Lee, mandatories are something you need to get out of the way to keep your title

look at some of Bernard's mandatories during his MW run if you think only GGG is the one who's happy to face overmatched guys picked by the ABC orgs

 

Look...we know what Mandos are!. Its obvious Fury had to deal with more harsh type of calls here, but does GGG with his "star" Status really need to settle for a Wade caliber opponent? I'm suyre if GGG said no I'm not happy with the Mandi at 160, and therefore goes four the IBF Zsmw champ I'm sure he would not get stripped of his mW belt... He said anyone from 154-68, yet he doesn't want to act upon it and his fans (you) are perfectly fine with it! GGG says Floyd hell come down to 154, and all of a sudden Floyd is a ducker! Bs.... They stripped off the heavyweight champ for exactly the same reason. I doubt GGG would get a pass for not fighting his mando, only 2 months after that happened. You need WBC for that kind of special treatment, IBF just strips you off regardless of who you are.

Highly doubt that. DeGale has to fight Uzcategui as well. IBF would strip them both off. It's just how they operate. I find the rule utterly stupid, but I respect them for sticking with the rules.
