That will probably be the plan but the first time Pacquiao hits him the plan goes out the window and Timbo will go back to what he usually does which is to brawl and trade punches, he still could win it that way cause Pac cant fight fight three minutes of a round like he used to and Timbo can outwork him and win a decision.
Upset? Nah Marquez's weaknesses aren't the same as pacs. Tim was countering off the front pivot and countering Marquez's counter. Pax is all about distance and taking advantage of his lunging. Tim needs to establish his jab n lull pax into his overhand rights. Also needs to pivot to the right while throwing left hooks over and undo pacs jabs. When pac over commits he's open for anything go the body and the straight right. Bradley needs to fight pax like Marquez did. Which he can do.
Pacquiao doesn't use jabs.. except for some lazy jabs after which he is getting countered. Apart from that, I agree. And I think Bradley has better chances now with Atlas in his corner. At least, I'm sure he will help him get rid of mistakes Bradley was doing during the 2nd fight.
In that case he's definitely not beating PAC as Floyd didn't beat PAC. Missing your opponent all night and getting pounded in the face repeatedly just to get the nod because the ref / judges / commentators / commission organization / ....even the drug testing agency / said you won doesn't really mean you won . Bradley would have a better shot at winning if Dr. Ellerbe help administer 750ml of USADA/NSAC approved saline to Bradley after the weight in...which is still impossible as Floyd still got his azz kicked.
Bradley outjabbed Marquez while moving the laterals, but Marquez imo beat him anyway by timing and connecting with much more effective punches than Bradley landed on him. In any regards, I agree that Bradley has to fight as disciplined as he did vs Marquez to have a shot at getting a decision. I don't think Bradley is capable of being as disciplined vs Pacquiao, because its simply more difficult to stay within a gameplan when you're facing the speed and southpaw stance of Pacquiao. Fights should play out pretty similar to the previous two Pacquiao-Bradley fights. I don't see much changing.
You don't know much about boxing then. Bradley easily beat JMM. The difference between the first two fights n now is large.
I've been following the sport for well over 30 years, which more than you have I'm sure. Lots of people had Marquez within a 7-5 range in rounds either way.
