To be honest, I don't see a single middleweight besides Golovkin who could move up right now to SMW and have success.

Also, I disagree on many accounts.

DeGale is an elite fighter which he proved by beating Andre Dirrell (although in a pretty even fight). Andre Dirrell himself is an elite boxer. Also, let's not forget the fact that DeGale combined his professional world title with Olympic gold medal which has never been done by an UK fighter before.

Badou Jack is a solid and quite underrated fighter. He might have holes in his defense but it's obvious that he improved recently. He has solid skills and is fairly good on the inside. Also, he apparently has good stamina (although it should be noted that he is being conditioned by doping cheating convict Ariza). Decent fighter, definitely not garbage.

Andre Dirrell did not almost get KO'd by Edwards. I've watched the fight and he wasn't even close to being dropped, much less knocked out. He was caught by a good shot in the final round and got on his bike for most of the round, that was pretty much it. He is not shot, and let me make a correction; his fight against Carl Froch was never a draw in a million years. It was a clear cut Andre Dirrell victory that the judges in the UK decided to shamelessly gift to Carl Froch. There is no denying this. Andre Dirrell is still very skilled and the only guy ever to legitimately beat him (in a very close fight) was James DeGale.

He was badly staggered, if Edwards had the wherewithal he could have finished him, unfortunately Showtime has taken it down from YT but the RBR tells the story.

I don't think it's an assumption if DeGale has already been on record stating he'd fight GGG... And DeGale has *****, so when he's says he'd fight GGG i tend to believe him.:deal

I must say the Blade Runner theme really is a nice touch. It really adds to the ambience.

Listen to it when reading.:deal It adds a whole new dimension.:yep

No, I already said he should fight DeGale, but that's not good enough to move up. He can fight DeGale at his usual weight at super middleweight limit.

So you would be happy with GGG fighting, maybe Sergio Mora?

It's a safe thing for Degale to say when GGG says in every interview his goal is to unify MW. Clearly he doesn't have to worry about GGG moving up. You assume Degale would fight GGG under the same pretense everyone thought Canelo would fight GGG. After all Canelo did take on the super dangerous and ducked Lara and Trout fights.

I love Degales attitude and the fact that he's willing to travel to fight top fighters like Bute. It's a rare thing to see in a UK fighter. But I will never say I;m certain any fighter will fighter another when it comes down to negotiation time. Not in this age of boxing.

If I were to make a list for preferable opponents for GGG's next fight, I'd say:

    Canelo
    Saunders
    DeGale
    Jacobs
    Lara
    Andy Lee
    Eubank

Chudinov and Jack would be nice fights to, maybe he should just fight those guys and continue his campaign at middle afterwards.

He's certainly small enough to do it!:deal He need's challenges and the top 3 guys at 160 are in no hurry to get in the ring with him, so why not move up get some big money fights, then when the other top guys come calling go back down and handle buisness!
