Not if Parker fights Takam for an IBF mandatory eliminator, Joshua v Parker would be an easy ppv sell.

  2. Yes, I am aware of that, what's your point?

There will never be a worse World Heavyweight Champion than Martin.

The point is that once Eddie declares you are Pay per Poo material - title s don't matter :patsch

Winning the title won't be the problem, defending it will!

  6. If you look at the IBF rankings it won't be an issue at all.

Why? No decent heavy weight particularly wants the ibf title so he won't get called out for it by any top fighter, the forced mandotarys will play into his hands

Agree. He just can't go back to learning fights after he has the belts........although looking at how the IBF rank fighters maybe not

Have to say, massive respect to both guys for taking this fight, Martin could have fought a soft touch and Joshua could have took a slower route to a title

There was no such thing as a soft touch for Martin, hence why Haymon has not gone that route. Cash in while you can.

We can knock Martin all we like but the guy has some ***** for making his first defence. Hard to really judge him on his last fight but its a step up from Whyte

A few brits could learn a thing from him.

What are you talking about? He's cashing out now, it's obvious.

My fellow Spurs fan :hi: off topic I know but I have to ask you this...

We just beat Man City away from home, second in the league, best defence, best goal difference, the youngest squad in the league and a team that looks very hard to beat.... So is you're bottle going yet?

I will admit when I saw the league table after today's game I started to twitch a little, I looked like Harry Redknapp on one of his really twitchy days :nut

Martin must be getting paid very very well.

Super fight for Joshua to win a world title. Great fight for Sky Ppv as Joshua is already a star but now his fighting for the world title. This will do fantastic numbers on Ppv.

First big shot AJ lands Martin will fold.

Anyone talking up his chances, watch this guy on youtube. He is AWFUL! Whyte would beat him fairly comfortably, as would Chisora. He is slow, flat-footed, poor punch technique and no KO power (despite his record suggesting otherwise)

Plus he's used to fighting in school gym's so the O2 Arena will overwhelm him. He is even more of a novice than AJ.

It's a good fight in terms of marketing, but it really won't be a spectacle. Can't see it lasting more than 3 rounds.

At least it means AJ will have to fight decent opposition from now on
