Quartey got dropped twice by Oscar, and never got stopped in his entire career.. You leave yourself open and get caught and go down, it's no big deal especially if you get back up and find a way to win. Great fighters have been knocked down before. I don't think anyone is saying Lara can beat GGG, we just want this ducking **** to stop.. Lara wants the fight ffs...

 

What makes you believe lara would ever fight a fringe at mw ? I can't see lara competitive with many of the JMW and there are quite a few ww's I'd lay down as heavily as I could at the time.

Maybe even taking equity if it's the right fight

And Lara is one of the best skilled fighters, and saying he wouldn't be competitive with anybody, which you're pretty much saying is a load of BS. this was a very good fight and one that earned me a lot of respect for Lara, a fighter I never cared for all that much but he proved a lot in manning up getting the stoppage after a tough night out

As for the topic, I dont give Lara any shot vs GGG. I know Lara has called him out to some degree. If Lara moved to 160 and beat 1 decent fighter and called out GGG at 160 i would be totally ok with that fight

 

Excuse me the fight was stopped because Angulo turned his back and refused to fight "he quits" his face was a mess with the worst swelling on his head and face I ever seen the beating was brutal.

 

berto looked horrible....both he and guerrero pummeled each others faces and guerrero hasnt had a fight since where the left eye didnt look like **** after

Angulos face did look bad and he basically quit the fight though

it was kind of a dull fight with a little too much clinching but the last round was great especially how Guerrero just kept hitting Berto after the bell Rocky movie style

shame Berto got caught with a thumb and his eye got messed up, he fought a hell of a fight considering what he had to fight with. I think the same thing of the Karras fight

I dont like and never did like Berto but I'd have to say the 2 losses I mentioned in this post he fought with all kinds of problems and didnt quit and continued to throw what bombs he could

vs Mayweather he was totally out of his depth and had virtually no chance
