Erislandry Lara vs. Angulo

Angulo quit because of that baseball size knot Lara's punches put on his head. The fight was a TKO LARA :rofl

Basically, all you need to know is Lara beats everyone Golovkin has been in the ring with and would be the only A-level fighter that Golovkin has faced in his long career.
It's a real shame when a champion like Little g has yet to face an A-level opponent.

 

And Lara earned the fight after he CLEARLY outclassed Canelo.

 

You could repeat this until the cows come home and it wont change the FACT that Lara lost that fight!

 

well in my opinion lara is undefeated so to me this is this 2nd best fight available for golovkin below the 160 pound limit. but stylistically its not a good matchup for lara. imo in order to beat ggg you need to push him back and be in his face all night. keep him off balance by pushing him back and being physical. canelo has the best chance because hes small and compact super aggresive. lara likes to move around and create openings for his silky smooth straight left but I don't think he'll have enough power at 160 to keep ggg honest. but ill watch either way.

 

Let's not forget he beat Paul Williams too, but was robbed the same. :yep

Look, I'm not saying Lara beats Golovkin, but he has a better chance of beating him than Rubio, Geale, and Monroe.

 

I never understood why people want him to face Lara so bad. Stylistically, I think Lara is a good match for him but given Lara's size, chin, and lack of pop (all relative to Golovkin), I think it's a forgone conclusion.

 

Not even stylistically is it a good match. Golovkin is an absolute expert at cutting off the ring.

Why is K2 and Golovkin fans so afraid of his fighting at least one A-level opponent?

His career is almost over and still not one A class fighter on his resume. It will be a dam shame if five years from now he has to pull a Calzaghe and call out a 56 year old Hopkins.

 

I think it's an interesting clash of styles but that's it.

Lemuiex destroys Lara. HBO would probably reject Lara as an opponent for Golovkin because he runs to much. HBO wants exciting fighters. They are hurting right and cant throw away money on Laras and Rigos.

 

Absolutely no one, I mean no one wants to talk about what Lara did to Paul Williams in their fight and got robbed like a pick pocket robbed Pacquiao.
They prefer to change the station to Howard Stern talking about Madonna.

PBC & Showtime are kicking HBO's DKSAB network azz like the Internet destroyed the old school crooked music industry.
All the big fights are now PBS or Showtime.

 

lara-golovkin is one of those fights that would make the casual viewer think that golovkin is the king of boxing after golovkin ko2 his azz.

the casual viewer wouldn't really grasp that lara is a jr middleweight cutie fighting an aggressive middleweight that knows how to cut off the ring.
