Can you name 3 impressive pro wins that give you the confidence that Martin would beat Whyte 19 times out of 20?

Lay off the pipe mate Whyte would beat Martin easily and if uninjured would of beaten Joshua.

2 fights before fighting Glakov Martin fought Tom Dallas and the fight before Zumbano Love.

Can you list Martin's? Outside of that freak win he just had his resume is worse than AJ's. Not that it really matters in calling this fight imo

Unreal some of these folk on here. Just believe what sky sports tell em.

Martin again (weakest champion IMO) big test for AJ especially at this point in his career. He 6ft 7in, strong and has a good Jab, n very heavy handed. The only advantage AJ will have is speed.

For me AJ showed a lot of frailties vs Whyte (who came in to ring looking horrendus) and he had every advantage possible Height/speed/Reach. This is a fight he will have to perform alot better than he has previous to win.

Imo Eddie has rushed this and I fancy AJ getting stopped. Martin looked decent for the few rounds vs Glazkhov. Even if AJ wins still a wrong move. He will get a volantary def (poss 2 if lucky) then mandatory def. Then it will be on to a unification fight vs Wilder/Fury after 18or so fights at 26/7 years old. I think this will ruin his career.

Jmo sure all the Hearn lovers will disagree and tell us all how he wins buy TKO R1 and would beat any heavyweight on planet inside 3Rounds

The biggest problem with picking Martin to win is he hasn't faced anyone of note. He beat Glazkov his best opponent by miles on a fluke and went 10 rounds with Love who is tough but that's it.

Its strange having this as a title fight for me this would have been ideal prep for going for a belt but Martin is seen as easy work. The stance might be a problem but I think AJ's power will bale him out eventually

  8. Got to love the Yanks coming in here to say if Joshua wins he'd then have to worry about Wilder.

Do **** off you mongs. Wilder is a cherry picking coward whom Povetkin would destroy with ease.

I haven't see enough of Martin to say one way or another.
I suspect he's on the same level as Dillian Whyte, and he might be better, and he's taller ... so yeah, he's got a chance, surely.

If Joshua is to win, I'd like it to be clean and clear, and above all FAIR .... not some crazy premature stoppage or a decision helped by points deductions, or a shed full of rabbit punches that the referee somehow fails to notice.

Ive seen the final Round of Martin Vs Love and Martin looks TERRIBLE! just a high number of throwaway punches, upright stance and footwork that would make Eubank Jr look like Darcy Bussell!

I think IF AJ connects early, then he will stop Martin, the longer the fight goes on then it could favour Martin...

its a close fight. i think Joshua by KO but a HW southpaw that hasn't been tested cannot be written off.

I'm reading a lot into their common opponent, Mr Love Machine.
Martin took ten rounds to stop him (and if you Youtube the tenth round he looked dreadful)
Joshua took him out in 2, dominated and didn't break a sweat.
