    :lol: Meet Floyd Mayweather events in the UK overflew with excited Brits stampeding each other to get a glimpse at THE WORLD'S HIGHEST PAID ATHLETE.
    The Queen invited him to Buckingham and begged him to become a British citizen, even offering to give him the title of DUKE Floyd Mayweather.
    Had he accepted, you would have had to bow every time his motorcade passed you on the streets. :smoke

    The funniest part of all this is NO ONE outside of boxing know who the heck Mayweather is nor do they care. This applies to the US just as much as the rest of the world. Everyone knows the REAL sports stars eg Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Mike Tyson & yes even Manny Pacquaio in boxing. Mayweather was known more from his laughable appearances on WWE . In fact one High School athlete when shown his pic
    stated " That's that funny little dwarf guy that was on with the Big Show isn't it " ? ROFLMAO

    You might have to start calling him, Duke Floyd Mayweather, Jr. as you stand outside his palace in London as you yell and scream, "Floyd! Sir Duke Mayweather! Please, may I have a word?!":yep

    In the US, every one who reads Forbes, Money magazine, Business week or Fortune magazine definitely know who Floyd Mayweather is, and as you stated, that's not likely to be a little white high school boy". :smoke

    His "success" in the latter part of his career (meaning his marriage with Haymon) was due largely in part because of his early association with Bob Arum, you can't deny that. Without Bob Arum he would not had the success he had in the late years, Arum paved the way for that. You can argue all you want but its truth.

    There is little difference between Bob Arum and Don King except the slimy, oily, smelly coating that continually oozes from Arum's skin. :smoke

    But we can't deny the fact that you can say what you want about those two however, they have brought us (real boxing fans) the best fights in the last 40 years, agree? There will never be another Arum or King...

    True, they have, especially Don King but as a fan of the boxers I feel for the way they were financially abused by both Arum and King.
    It's a dirty shame that knowing the law has kept Arum out from behind the jail cell in which he belongs.
    Hopefully, there will not be another Bob Arum.

    It's very telling that 60,000 Brit broads signed a protest to keep Floyd Mayweather from visiting the UK. YET, they don't know who he is.

    I hear Harry brought a pair of gloves for Floyd to sign and was as excited as a school girl when Mayweather handed them to him.

    The kid you asked probably never heard of 50cents or Jay-z either.

    Duke Floyd Mayweather has a rather nice ring to it. Sounds like Royalty. :yep

    But the point is Anyone that protested was protesting against a known cowardly, convicted , woman beating, obnoxious piece of garbage be allowed in the country. Sport had nothing to do with it
