    Stylistically I agree, but Lara won't last long enough to make it interesting. I think with his speed and style he'll land almost at will on Golovkin, but he'll get KO'd quickly.

    THat's like saying 1+1=3.

    How in the hell can you be convinced that GGG beats an elite(your words) fighter in Lara but still refer to GGG as a "hype job":huh

    Pointing out the size difference is fair enough but it's weak to claim he's ducking him and then not give him credit if he fights and beats him. I guess as long as you have people dissing Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather Jr and making bold claims about who GGG could beat, you will have people discrediting and ridiculing GGG and vice versa.

    First of all, GGG didn't say that. Abel Sanchez this. Secondly he was saying that to the general public Lara is not that well known, which is true and does terrible TV ratings, which is true. Lara is also not a HBO fighter whom Golovkin is contracted as he's with Haymon and they have little desire to see

    And finally, he fought Willie Munroe to reamain in the mandatory position for the WBC title. And Lara was not ranked at Middleweight- and as GGG has gone on record multiple times he wants to unify all the titles in the division.

    Also the fights you mention like De La Hoya v Strum, Leonard v Hagler are irrelevant to this- because 1- the guy moving up was the clear A-side and is the opposite way round here, 2- actual formal offers where made for those fights. Something that Lara hasn't done to GGG yet.

    Based on his post, he's already convinced(as I am) that GGG beats Lara. A "hype job" should not be able to do that.

    Lara is many things imo such as boring as hell, overrated to and extent just to name a few but, based off history Lara is far from a bum. I'm pretty sure guys like you had Lara beating Alvarez if that's the case, you should be really for this fight.

    And here's the thing regardless of what I think Lara is actually called and considered a top level fighter. Which is the opposite of GGGs resume Murray was a bum before and is still looked at one after, so is Lemiuex, and Monroe, etc... It's crazy to me how y'all bash all these fighters saying everybody is scared of Golovkin, yet everytime he's in position to push for a big fight he steps to the side.

    But how can he take the fight if Lara doesn;t want it and if he does, why doesn't he make some form of formal contact with GGG's team or try and win one of the titles GGG is trying to unify and become mando for one GGG has.

    Why do you continue to avoid answering that?

    Nope I had Alvarez beating Lara and I believe Lara would enter this fight with no intention of winning and just running his way to a UD loss. However with GGG's ability to cut of the ring, he wouldn't last as long as Martin Murray.
