His range and sense and use of distance is top notch.

    What are you asking?

Are you asking if he switched NOW, woud he be elite?

    No, nowhere near.

If youre asking could he have been if he had dedicated himself to boxing like MMA...well then...maybe, who knows

    Hes a good natural athlete

He has the tools. He was a very good amateur boxer in his youth and represented Ireland.

Conor's reasons for his success is his study of movement. Also, Conor sincerely believes even in loss that he will be the best, so he would have endured any given lesson to become the best.
    Naturally, he's a great athlete.

He uses his range and distance well, he clearly hits very hard and has the heart and grit necessary to succeed in boxing.

he never represented Ireland, he boxed out of he's local club and had a few but not many fights, no where near enough to class him as a very good amatuer

    I agree.
    Bad technique, arm puncher.
    Far from elite.

No. He has the physical talent but he'll need to make some adjustments. Connor is quite fearless with his leg kicks and there's an element of kidology where he gets in their head.

Athletically and strategically he'd be an elite boxer. Technically he needs to make changes.
