Newsflash Corner shop boy he Got Knocked the **** out by Breidis Prescott , Willie Limond (14 second count) and Danny Garcia. Was outboxed by Lamont Peterson! etc Has either been dropped or struggled in every other fight despite cherry picking his entire career Hasn't won a world title fight in 5 years and is now stepping up to face one of the best fighters in the planet. should I go on? The scenario of Khan beating Alvarez is so so unlikely it's like San Marino beating Germany at Football. It's the first and only time he will have faced an A level fighter and it will show. It will be tough watch for you that's for sure. Total mismatch.

Well this is an unnecessary and haterish type thread.

 

You may not need to be a Leonard or Duran in versatility/completeness to be a P4P king, but you can't have the glaring weaknesses that Khan has. Khan doesn't just have one or two weaknesses, he has MANY weaknesses. Weaknesses that gets him in trouble time and time again against slower guys whom he would handle easily if he actually were anything close to resembling an elite p4p fighter.

No, Khan has hardly any chance at Canelo. It's a mismatch. It's a bull**** matchup between a chinny welterweight and a middleweight. Khan is faster than Canelo and has better stamina. That's it. And Khan's foot speed advantage gets negated by the fact that he has such flawed footwork.

Khan is not more skilled, has disadvantages in power (and Canelo is no big puncher), defense, accuracy, combination punching, composure, discipline, ring smarts, chin, etc....Canelo gets minimal credit if and when he lays out a chinny, sloppy welterweight with a low ring IQ.

A lot of people seem to hate Khan and will enjoy watching him get stopped again. I will get no pleasure out of seeing him lose to some bigger and better opponent. It's not even a fair fight.

 

We talk after May 7th then, let's see how much of a mismatch this is..

the guys a walking KO he CANNOT handle a good shot and yet he talks as though he is the most avoided fighter in his weightclass its sheer arrogance for no reason

sure he has a few good wins on his resume but he just has not got the tools to dominate a division you would bet against him in any major fight because you just know at some point he will do the samba dance again
