Is there any doubts Anthony Joshua has a weak chin?! Reminds of Frank Bruno

Joshua has a great chin, and I mean great.
Him ggg and ortiz are absolutely great and will all prove this to be factual if ever necessary

 

He is powerful but doesn't hit as hard as Frank .clubs people into submission is more mobile than Bruno but I do wonder if his huge frame might drain him if a fight go's into the late rnds .

He looks faster than Bruno to me.
He seems more c0cky/confident too. Relaxed and menacing. Bruno always seemed tense and a little worried.
Those are advantages for Joshua.

But, yeah, he's hardly done anything to judge him, and if his chin is sh!t he'll get found out when he steps up.

Yes he's faster than Bruno, his punches have more snap to them as well. Bruno's shots looked cumbersome sometimes, especially when he hooked, probably because he had such long arms for his body, it was hard for him to throw them correctly.

Bruno had the better jab though, heavier, more authoritative. Bruno was also more static, he didn't move well at all, he's a fighter that would have done better with a jab and clinch style as he couldn't get out of the way after throwing.

Joshua isn't the best mover himself but he's definitely more agile than Bruno ever was.

I agree about their demeanour. Bruno was tense in the ring while Joshua is more relaxed and confident, you saw that in the Whyte fight, he was smiling and talking to him. Don't recall Bruno ever doing that in the ring, he was always too tight to ever relax like that.

 

He doesn't use his jab, I don't see any resemblance to Lewis. Folks just want him to be an ATG like Lewis. I like AJ, this slander about his chin must cease. Or not.

 

Martin is gonna drill him with a straight left in their upcoming fight. There's a chance he won't be able to take it.

 

He starts off using it but then he lands a big shot and forgets he has one.

I agree about the comparisons to Lewis. He fights very differently, Lewis had a more relaxed style while Joshua keeps his hands up and throws his punches in a more text book style.

Joshua's right hand reminds be more of Wlads, straighter than Lewis' and he snaps it back like Wlad does while Lewis follows through more with his right hand.

But it's inevitable he gets compared to Lewis he was the last great British heavyweight and people want Joshua to match his accomplishments. People want a new Lewis like like people wanted a new Ali when he retired or people always wanting to know who will be the next Tyson.
