    A worse interview than Floyd?

I mean, here is a guy that struggles to give a straight answer.

    Example:

"Who wins out of Golovkin/Canelo, Floyd?"

"Well, that's a big fight you know? GGG is a hungry lion, but I'm truly blessed, I have a great team."

    'Er? :think:think:think:think

I can't recall for the life of me when he actually gave an interview where he just flows, answers questions properly and doesn't retort to the pre-written replies he always uses (the ones I mentioned).

So, has there ever been an ATG that consistently gave a worse interview than Floyd?

ATG doesn't need illegal IV 14X the limit.

Floyd answers questions like a politician. Other than clearly punchy fighters, i find Floyd's interviews to generally be the most awkward and boring.

I don“t know if one can call Carl Froch an all time great but all he can mus**** these days is: "I beat George Groves in front of 80 000 people in Wembley Stadium"

yeh i think he would have a bright future in politics with his skills in misdirection. its funny how punchy he sounds even in his younger days for someone whos known for taking the least punishment in the sport. then you see guys like margarito who sound pretty good after using there face as a way to break his opponents fists

Yup, he has a very off way of answering questions

Like hes going to answer the question the same way no matter what is asked.

    Annoying at times

As someone mentioned he answers like a politician and doesn't give straight answers that can be, in his mind, used against him. He cares too much what people think, which explains the image he has created.

But he's not the only fighter that gives bad answers or tries to twist answers to what he wants to talk about. I've found many of my favourite fighters over the years to be like that.

I mean look at Chris Eubank, half the time I don't know what the hell he's talking about. I guess all fighters when they've taken as many punches as they do don't always make perfect sense.

But it's not that, it could be a simple yes or no question which he will answer "Errrrrm, you know, I had a great run..."

The question could be "Is it hot in here?" and he'll go on some made rant filled with the above.

It's as if he has programmed himself to give answers like that.

Loads of fighters do that, ask any religious fighter how the fight went and they'll just thank god for giving them the strength to pull through.

"So were you worried before the fight?"... "God gave me strength to pull through"

That's now what he asked you, you dumb phuck were you worried or not?

In regards to non boxing related stuff, Floyd is Floyd, he's too narcissistic to actually care what he is being asked he has his own agenda and uses that time to put over what he is thinking not what was asked as in his mind what he is thinking is what counts. He's not the only fighter that does it though.

Quite frankly he's always been a bit of a nitwit.
