I think considering that GGG fights in the USA for how long 2-3 years hes doing well. Seems to sell out venues and has a HBO contract. Quite an achievement.
Golovkin may not be a PPV draw just yet but it's clear the hard core boxing fans are willing to pay to watch him live. He sold out MSG for the Lemieux fight so it's not surprising if this fights live gate sells well. But of course PPV is where the real money is made, unless he can transfer the success he has attracting people to the live show to PPV sales, he will struggle to get the fights he wants.

Why even pay for the ticket. Just pay for parking and you will get a free tickets outside of Oracle arena. Several Ward fights have been flops so they hand them out to fill seats.
