the man was/is obviously one of the only special talents in the most watered down generation of fighters in the history of the sport(paulie malignaggi was world champion). but why didn't the saline man ever unify every title. he could've fought anybody he wanted to after 2005, ANYBODY. his camp sends the contracts to opponents, it isn't the other way around. why didn't he ever become undisputed champ?

ps. Floyd is the guy with his own private medical team if anyone forgot

Money. Neither did ODLH, Chavez Sr., Roberto Duran, Whitaker, or any other legend below HW besides Hagler. The closest to it was Roy Jones Jr. LHW domination and not collecting the WBO title.

What is more profitable, which is really the bottom line.

He was undisputed after he beat both Baldomir and Judah.

He also unified the WBA, WBC, and WBO belt along with the lineal belt. He also won every belt at WW.

Dude are you being serious or just hating Floyd?
If you hate Floyd then **** it, but if you really don't think Chavez and Oscar had a choice then you don't know boxing.

I did a whole thread on Chavez and his opponent choices before and after making it big and becoming champion.

Oscar fought his fair share of "paper champs" too after becoming the PPV King.

His career followed money money money. Im not a fan of Floyd but if he wanted to chase the belts then there was nobody to stop him but he went for the fights that earned him the most dollar. If im honest i wasnt even aware he had not unified a division or two.

Five weight division champion, unified at Welterweight(WBC/WBA/WBO Champion) and WBC/WBA Light Middleweight Champion. Go back to your "GGG is the first man in history to fight a chain of tomato cans(one on a failed PPV) and be cheered on by losers like me" campaign.

WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF and lineal WW champion

    WBA, WBC, lineal JWW champion

WBC and lineal SFW champion, should of been WBC and IBF but they stripped Corrales of his belt for fighting Floyd.

He was lineal champ in 4 divisions and unified at least partially a few times.

    Good question.

If Floyd had unified, do you think that would have added 5, 10, or 20% to the $35M per fight Show-time was paying him?

I'm pretty sure only Hopkins and Taylor have ever been totally unified champions ever since the proliferation of the belts.
