Khan was 135 for the Prescott loss and in that camp was weight lifting with body fat near 5% = Badly Weight Drained..

Only adding 5lbs Khan with stood power puncher Maidana for 12 rounds who at the time had KO Ratio 90%

Khan lost to Garcia to a well timed and placed NECK punch..

I don't see Khan chin as being glass at all, his chin is average..

Note Khan being at 155 for Canelo fight could be Khan's best fighting weight, heard stories Khan making 147 has not been easy too, now looking at Khan's frame 154 weight class would suit him the best..

Vs Collazo Khan rehydrated 15lbs to 162lbs on fight night, Virgil even said recently Khan spars best around 153-154 in camp..

If this all is true, Canelo picked the wrong guy, Khan will shock the world May 7th..

Thank you for clarifying this. Canelo by brutal, highlight reel KO in 3 rounds or less.

So after Khan gets hurt he will fire Virgil, go back down to 147, claim he felt slow and bloated, call out Floyd for the 1000th time and sit at home and sulk.

From what I've been reading lately, since the fight was announced, most fighters seem to think this fight will be more competitive than the average person things.

Khan's Dad would not put his son in with a bigger guy who can really hurt his son, this is a calculated risk, this is no way just a cash out fight, Khan's team really feel they can win and see something in Canelo that they can take advantage from..

I think the weight could favor Khan. Looking how big Canelo is on fight night, he can't be making 155 easily anymore (and I also think if he insists on fighting Triple G at that weight, he may find that favors GGG who on 30 day weigh is normally smaller than Canelo).

    Although Khan should've got a re-hydration clause

No he shouldn’t have. Khan is getting a bargain as it stands. The 155 catchweight helps Khan, not Canelo. (as Khan is coming up from 147) If the fight were to be fought at 160, Canelo would have a much greater advantage over Khan.

Given all factors, for this specific fight, the 155 catchweight really seems to be a very fair compromise. It shows that Canelo is really a true gentleman and treated Khan with respect in negotiations.

154 is probably a decent weight for Khan but Canelo is still naturally bigger and stronger and will out weigh Khan in the ring.
