:thumbsup I will always remember because it was the last Golden Year of Boxing. Provo will be plain overweight for 154, just like Khan will and Josesito Lopez was.
I expect a Cotto UD but I think he takes a fair bit of punishment. That's the difficulty in fighting Provo, if you can box well you can win but you will get lumped up in the process
Cotto can not run away for 12 rounds. That is not his style. He will try, but Provo will find him at some point of the fight. Could be to much for Cotto.
I love it when Cotto fights in my backyard.Only 15 minutes away from either MSG and Barclay's-although I prefer the Gardens.Me and the boys will be out in numbers for this one!:thumbsup
For those interested another name is in the table too Diego Chavez and they negotiating to be in the Garden, New York. Is on the news in PR. Who do you prefer?
People here are overrating the **** out of Provo if Cotto isn't drained he will absolutely tool him. There's levels to this ****.:deal
Most people seem to think Cotto wins but Provo provides a tough fight, particularly at this stage of Cotto's career. Cotto is pound for pound one of the best of his generation. Provo will never be. Definite difference in levels.
Cotto buckles under the kind of pressure ruslan is capable of applying. He mentally falls apart. He gets discouraged. He will beat on ruslan with ruslan landing the occasional bomb and after 5-6 rounds of this with the Russian still right on top of him cotto will likely begin to wither as more n more Siberian shots get through to their mark. All that being said, ruslan has them little T. rex arms and cotto could possibly manage to keep him at bay. It's a war of will when you're in there with provodnikov though. N his will is pretty terrifying. Not to mention his power.
Really?, this is the best response you can come up with?. You "excelled" in school and college?, my goodness man, wow. What a loser.
cotto outboxes him with ease. provodnikov was decent at 140 but I don't seem him being a hard hitter at 147.
