Why is Wilder's team blowing smoke and talking dates and locations like Barclay's and Mississippi if to date no terms are agreed upon?

I never believed Povetkin ever wanted a piece of the bronze bomber, ever.

"I'm a traveller, a global fighter, I fight anywhere all over the world that's how you become legendary. You become legendary by not being afraid to go into enemy territory when the time comes or when duty calls.''

Happy for this to goto purse bids. Can't wait to see Wilder's panicked eyes when he sees the Russians win the bid and order this to Moscow.

Lou said that an agreement was just days away, but it looks like Povetkin's people pulled a K2 move and wussed out.
Just goes to show you can't trust Russians as far as you can shot-put Aretha Franklin. :smoke

If that happened it would be no surprise to Emperor Al Haymon who forecast every possibility and had their plan A, B, C, and D mapped out months ago.
I'm just curious which plan Al will implement. :yep

Wilder will find an excuse not to fight Povetkin. Povetkin will fight TBA for the WBC belt, or more likely, Wilder will face Adamek or Wawrzyk next for the WBC belt.

Can anyone imagine Wilder walk into a Moscow arena with 50,000 wild Soviet hooligans screaming and booing Deontay? He'd soil his pants and not even get into the ring.

Povetkin is gonna have Wilder scrambling around on the canvas like the great and legendary puncher Harold Sconiers did!

He'd better take his own meals and keep them under tight lock and key with a security detail guarding it 24/7, else he might end up drugged. :smoke
