Lavallee about to get upset. Has been hurt both rounds.

 

Silveria has a losing record but is the more confident man in there right now.

 

Lavallee mounted a comeback early in round three with some body work but got reckless and was sandbagged into the ropes by a right hand. Would've gone down if they weren't holding him up so it was ruled a KD. Wild fishing rod right hands by Silveria, keeping Lavallee on the backfoot.

Not a bad guess, considering the hometown and surname in common...and there is a vague resemblance. I can't find any confirmation of it anywhere online, though.

However, they are friends on Twitter and frequently retweet each other...

 

Lavallee just looks incredibly amateurish. He is getting shut out, in a very deep hole with the knockdown factored in.

 

Silveria is showing why you never overlook a guy because of his record. Just gutting his through and bossing this. Responsible high guard, heavy pressure, lots of alternating hooks up close and chasing with high windmills every time Lavallee backs straight up...

 

Well then I guess they aren't brothers, as this kid's full name is John Vera, Jr.

Maybe cousins.
