Just watched this. Wish it was a bit longer and more in depth but was quite good. Can't understand the bitterness from Shane mcguigan though it's unbearable. Nearly every comment he makes is about quigg a training, don't think quigg refers to them once. His best quote was definatley that only boxers without talent enjoy their training. All the good boxers hate it. What a **** he is
There were some unsubstantiated quotes from both sides about training. I suppose it's par for the course. If you follow boxing long enough you come to realise that everyone within the sport talks utter **** at times. Frampton talking about hugging his mum made me laugh. Decent show, but yeah, it could have been longer.
There should be more stuff like this on the lead up to fights of this magnitude. When it's 2 British fighters it gets you right up for it but really the build up has been pretty sp****. Sky need to pull their finger out
I was thinking the same thing this morning when i watched it. I am up for the fight, but that is because I'm a massive boxing fan. For the casuals, other than The Gloves Are Off, there really hasn't been anything that would entice the fence sitting casual to buy this fight.
Quigg came off well I thought, I think he has the dog in him for when things get difficult. Pretty clear that boxing is all he knows.
I really liked the show - thought everyone came off well even Joe and Shane. I think I want Frampton to win, but i kinda to respect Quigg and what he's doing. let the best man win.
You could see which was the more professional outfit. Shane is the new breed of educated intelligent smart trainer. Gallagher didnt impress me. For example when Quigg was winded on the track he was bending over gasping for breath. A proper trainer wouldve immediately told him to stand up straight and breathe normally. At top level these 'little' things make the difference.
Haven't seen it yet, but is McGuigan not a case of the emperor's new clothes? Let's be real, he only got hold of Haye and Groves because they couldn't be ****d to train outside of London.
Carl comes across as a working class kid made good. Scott comes across as a working class kid made good. The Wee fella's son comes across an absolute *******, who reeks of self entitlement. Bang's on and on about " natural talent " yet had absolutely none himself inside the ring. I love the irony and hypocrisy of him and the wee fella suggesting Gallagher was arrogant.
