Who would you list as the top combo punchers? Seeing as HW seems to be traditionally full of more men trying to look for the one punch KO, it's always nice to see a good combo puncher, eg Holyfield, early Tyson, Joe Louis. Currently the two best combo punchers I really note at HW is Povetkin and Parker, but I'm curious other peoples favourite combo punchers
Povetkin and Parker are good shouts. Although he gets called robotic, Joshua can throw a decent combo when he wants to. I think he can be a bit upright and static at times (which is were i can see the robotic accusations having some weight), but when he lets his hands go, there is a natural fluidity there. He also goes to the body at times and varies the power and speed of the shots.
Even packed full of steroids Povetkin is a mediocre puncher and as slow as a snail taking a leak. There is only one combination puncher in the HW division and that is Deontay Wilder. None of the others even come close, and since they are as good as they can get, they never will.
The division was so weak it didn't even have combination hitters. 15 years and only Povektin springs to mind.
Does Wilder's windmilling count as a combo? If it does, then he is the best combo puncher. It's crude but it's effective. Povetkin puts his punches together well.
