The guy is 175 lbs. in the ring, and getting up into his late 20s. Do you think Khan's people will actually cancel the fight if he can't get under, say 156.5?

That question was also brought up in his last fight against Cotto.

He will look very bad if he can't make the weight in one of his 155 bouts, completely erasing the whole "not a MW yet" bull. Which of course is already complete bull knowing Alvarez actually weighs more as most actual MW's do on fightnight.

If Canelo blows the CW that means hes getting closer to the end. At 160 he gives up height and reach and power.

it helps Khan...shows Canelo is having trouble and they should force him to make the weight

If his team let it fly then Khan should fire them all.

Nothing, the fight will go on even if Canelo comes in at 170

Nothing the b side can do about it

If the B side keeps him from fighting GGG, the B side calls all the shots. Canelo is scared to death of GGG:lol::lol:

This is not true. If Canelo doesn't make weight and the fight is contracted at 155, then Khan will have a few options.

    He can walk away.

He can demand more $ for the fight to go on.

Both of those are a lot more than "nothing"

Canelo will make himself look like a complete idiot, not long ago he was on about how comfortable he feels at 155

The real question is, will Canelo hurt his ring longevity by draining his body so much at a older age? I'm guessing that at this rate he'll be shot by 32.

Ricky Hatton is a prime example of a fighter ruining his body with constant jumping in weight

I've thought this for awhile. This will catch up with him and cut his career. Surely someone on his team must realize this.

I don't think Canelo is scared to get in the ring, but I do think his team does not want this fight.

That's understandable as they don't want another L on Canelo's ledger
but they also know that GGG is their bigge$$$t opponent and that's a huge fight which can be made bigger if the properly marinate it.
