He won it fair and square.Nonetheless,one blind judge had Sturm ahead with 4 rounds.Incredible!
There was no need for a rematch.Nonetheless,a rematch was ordered.
Oh,hell,Sturm won it on two scorecards,one draw.Sure,their 2 encounter was a bit closer than the first one,but Chudinov did enough to win it with 2-3 rounds.He was the defending champ,and Sturm didnt win a single round clearly and convincingly.However,Chudinov did win some rounds quite clearly.
Sturm would never ever have won tonight's fight outside Germany.
Disgusting! Absolutely disgusting outcome! A young champ is robbed of his belt because money is on his opponent's side.

I had it 9-3 Chudinov. Cards had me so confused, like what the hell

 

Joe would slap his opponent on the shoulder and elbow three times and the ref would run in and stop the fight.

 

Agree with you MVC, it was absolutely disgraceful.

The fight wasn't close, it was just some storyline that allowed Sturm to be gifted that title. The judges should be investigated and fired and the result over turned.

Germany is an absolute joke, if I were a boxer I would never travel there to fight.

Whatever happened to the notion that you need to "beat the champ" Sturm not only failed to do that, he barely won any rounds.

I had it 118-110. Even the rounds where Sturm put in some work, he was out punched 3 or 4 to 1!!

I feel really bad for Chudinov right now and even more for the state of boxing..

I'm really ****ed off with this decision. I could see it coming though, which is really sad.

Really hope the WBA investigates, but they won't.
