No one was scared. Toney as good as he was seemed to have a very short prime then lost interest and ate his way up the divisions losing often to lesser fighters

He wasn't crying lol. I think his estrogen levels were a little high though. But looks like a guy that was tired of the trash talk and for whatever reason let it get under his skin way too much.

That telecast was seen on UK and US TV.

If that wasn't Toney calling them both out then I don't know what else it could be.

Toney stated that they had to fight him if they wanted big money. He said they were ducking him. He talked about Eubank and his momma to make the point.

He concluded with, "There ain't no fighters in England, just bums".

You Brits may fail to realize it since you like to dress all dandy and drink tea while eating cucumber sanmiches', but that's what in the US is called a call-out. :yep

Yes...I can see the logic in saying that the notoriously inconsistant James Toney who struggled to maintain his weight and had bad conditioning issues at Super Middleweight would easilly beat the man who fought more top names and had more successful defences of a world title at the weight than anyone else in the 90's. Equally I can see how that argument would apply to the man who had the second most amount of successful defences and fought the second highest amount of top names in the division in the 90's...

Actually that Youtube clip is about a few minutes short.
Eubank became even more emotional in the last few minutes.
I thought he was really having a nervous breakdown when he actually started weeping. :|

Classic. Eubank thinks he's a smart guy yet he's stupid enough to let a playground insult get to him. Toney was funny, where are the characters like that in boxing today?

 That a real warrior's supreme confidence showing. Very few fighters today have James Toney's level of self confidence.
That version of James Toney would have KO'ed Eubank in the championship rounds. :yep

You still haven't gotten over Toney's sonning of Nunn?

Did either of them become a top 10 heavyweight? Or did they just get knocked out by super middleweights and cruiserweights? Both of those guys are great fighters, but Toney was a cut above. They were both Michael Nunn level talents while Toney was closer to Roy Jones Jr or Bernard Hopkins.

In Benn's mind, Toney was the most feared.
Did you see the look in their eyes in that clip?
When Toney came on they both acted as if they were statues afraid to say anything, acting like mutes.
Why would two boxers go on TV on a talk show and as soon as Toney came on they both refused to talk. Plain, naked, FEAR.
Toney called them out and neither one of them was warrior enough to take him up on the offer.
Toney was right. England didn't have no fighters. Only Bums.

An amusing video, but no, they weren't afraid of Toney, don't be silly.

James Toney would have toyed with both of them. We saw Michael Watson was able to outbox both Benn and Eubank but yet completely outclassed by Mike McCallum in front of his home crowd. They just weren't on the same level as Toney/McCallum. No shame in that though.

The MW champion publicly called them out and neither responded. Ever. That's fear. :yep

For Eubank it seemed to much more than talking trash. He was clearly upset and you would think he would have wanted to get revenge for talking about his Mum, but it seems the fear in him was greater than his anger. How humiliating to be bullied like that on TV.

To Benn's credit he did state that he isn't afraid of anyone and would fight him. I guess after the show his handlers talked him out of it though.

Toney was right. There weren't any fighters in England, only bums. :yep
