joshua ring generalship /power/ sitting down on shots have all changed since his amatuer days when he was either 20 or 21 during the nistor fight.

no disputing he got clocked but the relevance today is overstated .

 

Nistor is a powerhouse, he's given many top fighters (including Usyk) all they could handle. The fight proves what a great chin Joshua has if anything, those punches would knock most fighters out cold.

 

Not only is it overrated its not relevant at all. AJ got stunned twice and both were counted as a KD. Thats because AM rules are different. The one that was scored as a TKO wouldn't even have been a KD in the pro ranks. Not only do we not know if Martin would even be able to wobble AJ but we don't know if he could even be stopped. In both KDs AJ recovered instantly as if he wasn't hurt at all. Why assume Martin can finish AJ when we don't even know if Nistor could finish the job in a pro setting. After all, Nistor is unarguably a MUCH better boxer than Martin.
