Just rewatched it and Mollo was actually getting tagged repeatedly and actually first hurt Zimnoch when the ref was trying to separate them from a clinch(defend yourself at all times they say) but that was a little bit dirty from Mollo. That was the beginning of the end and almost immediately Zimnoch was dropped by a right hand. I think Mollo will be brought back for a rematch, and to be fair Zimnoch deserves one.

 

Why not just put Dinu in with Hammer, noone cares about this s****ty card.

 

Because Hammer is a *****, he was Dinus ***** in the amateurs. Dinu has called him out several times for a pro rematch and Hammer has ignored him every time.

 

And he still has a higher ranking than Dinu. :verysad

 

Yeah well that's Dinu and his promoters fault, he hasn't been pushed veyr well in the pros. Still holding on to some hope that will change. Rivas for the longest time was in the same boat and now he has a fight with Washington coming up.

 

Mollo really does look like he could have been something decent had he truly dedicated himself to boxing.
Decent power and speed. Good sense of movement and nice fluidity to his combinations.
Not saying he would have a real player but he may have surpassed the likes of Szpilka.

 

Possibly his next opponent? That'd be a very good fight.

 

Dont get carried away,mate! Zimnoch is a little known Polish fighter who has collected the scalps of even lesser known local journeymen or Slovak and Hungarian taxi drivers.
I take my hat off to Mollo to go over there to Poland to knock out their local hero in his backyard,but it doesnt mean that Mollo could have been a serious threat to the top dogs......even if he had truly dedicated himself to boxing.
The same can be said about quite a few heavies.Solis comes to my mind.Far more talented than Mollo.The Cuban has prefered partying and binge eating in American trash food restaurants to sweating inside a gym.Solis had it all-just no dedication,motivation and discipline.What a waste of time!
Mollo is a decent fighter,but nothing more.

 

I never stated that Mollo could be a player. What i mean´t was that he could actually have beaten some decent low level guys. He almost beat Szpilka, and that for me is the indicator.
He has the tools to be one.
