Wlad Klitschko had to be told to fight back, This is what a HW champion is to YOU?

The reason Wlad lost is very simple, take away his jab and grab and he's exposed as a pretty average boxer. Against a bigger stronger guy like Fury where the jab/grab was nullified he looked completely lost.

Wlad has relied on illegal tactics and corrupt German officials his entire career, I wonder how many opponents had to fight on the bouncy castle canvas the Furys called them out on? Wlad is no ATG, just a very big man who fought dirty in a weak era. A weak era that thank **** has finally come to an end.

 

Wlad knows what he has to do and he will. And Leon Spinks would not last 1 round vs prime Wlad. It would be a brutal execution. Some idiots on here are farcical.

 

He UD'd Peter, Ibragimov and Jennings in the US and Povektin in Russia. Aside from the Povektin fight the clinching in his fights weren't any worse than your average Mayweather, Holyfield, or Ward fight. Regardless, the majority of his wins were TKO's or KO's so hometown judges hardly played a part. Wlads career isn't very comparable to the other fights who have taken refuge in Germany.

When talking about the corrupt officials, it's not the judges...but rather the German BDB president Dr. Thomas Putz has been in Wlad's pocket for a number of years. Wlad's been seen socializing with him, he's always front and center of all the press conferences (even those outside of Germany, and his jurisdiction). I'm sure he was on the K2 payroll in some aspect, which is disgusting.

Even as a Wlad fan, I was delighted to see Team Fury give Thomas Putz a tongue lashing and stand up to him over the ring and gloves and force him to give ground.

 

What was amazing to me was that Wlad never threw a punch to Fury's flabby body. I would not recommend rewatching the fight, but despite at least 100 clinches Wlad NEVER EVEN TRIED a body shot. Unbelievable.

 

There were three things during that camp that Fury didn't bend to Wlads will about I'm pretty sure. Gloves being the biggest thing. I don't remember the other two but I personally don't think the ring incident was the fault of Wlad. I think it was the fault of the crew that put the ring together that night. I can't imagine any fighter wanting to fight on a trampoline.

Wlad clinches something terrible in ALL of his fights. It isn't comparable to the guys you listed.

Funny thing is if Fury loses the rematch he goes down with Leon Spinks as one of the worst champions ever.
