    tom already said that the ward fight will be looked at in 2017 once ward fights kovalev and loses then the fight can happen

    Mayweather doesn't need to fight Golovkin, but if he wants respect for fighting a great fighter in their prime, then he must take this fight, otherwise stay retired and enjoy being known as a Top 40 ATG, but no way near Top 20.
