I always knew Holyfield was a dirty fighter, though i personally felt that the reason for Tyson's frustration and ear bite in their second fight was more to do with his anger, humiliation at just being out bullied by Holyfield.

But this youtube video i found was just shocking. I am surprised how no one at the time saw these clips carefully or took any action. I was just shocked looking at this videos and the blatancy with which Holyfield was committing these fouls.

Old news. Holyfield got away with all this **** for years. Between his dirty fighting and obvious steroid use he has to be one of the dirtiest fighters in history.

But the blatancy and confidence with which he is doing it and the slickness and no fear of getting caught, is just shocking.

I am shocked as to how no one ever bothered to ****yze these video tapes in detail.

It is boxing, a most brutal sport. Guys like Marciano and Tyson had their fair share of rough housing. I wish someone had the courage to do this to Mayweather in the past. The guy needed to be roughened up.

Aww didums, can remember when Tyson charged in head first and came off second best. Didn't like it when he met someone who could be just as rough as him.

Nice to see you admitting Tyson was up there with the dirtiest heavyweight champions, he had no right to complain.

Actually he did. Tyson may have committed the odd foul here and there but to throw 40 plus head butts, kicks, low blows in a fight is pushing it.

i love evander and i respect him greatly. however his antics in the ring were pretty criminal, no DQs? not many warnings.

ill have to watch lewis vs holyfeild 1 and 2 again. if i remember lewis took that from evander.

but if holyfield did to that **** to lewis, evander would have been stopped.

Lennox had his fair share of fouls in many fights, too.

Holding and hitting, pushing, elbowing his opponents etc.

Plus Lennox' trunks in the 1st fight were up to his chest :yep

Those great fighters often try to use every legal AND illegal advantage if the referee allows to do it.

If someone could be bothered to take the time and effort required to show a video clip of Tyson trying to break guys arms, head butting punching on the break or after the bell, throwing follow up elbows, low blows, biting, and just about any other kind of fouling you can think of, would you acknowledge it, or would you just bury your head in the sand and cry poor little Mikey?
