...what weight will GGG agree to?

Surely he'd at least be willing to venture up to 175? 172 perhaps? Surely 170?

Or would he attempt to drain Hopkins down closer towards 164?

Choose the closest option that applies.

Surely he could give the old man an extra 2 pounds and make it 170?

I'll bet it's 165 or he might show some slightly larger nuts and agree to 168. :yep

Has Hopkins not already said 168?

    Per team GGG:

"He’s (Bernard's) a legend. It would be a huge name for him. He’s physically much bigger than Gennady. Bernard has never been stopped in his career. Gennady has a long knockout streak, so you’d have two forces coming together and that’s a very interesting fight."

    170. That was the weight for Hopkins' fight with Winky I think.

Yes. That was his weight for his bouts with Winky and Pavlik.

Isn't he Kovalev's best win? One of them at least. Would he be Golovkin's best win to date?

no just no bernie is coming off a drubbing by kovalev and by the time they fight it will be two years of inactivity he should retire.

He would absolutely 100% be Golovkin's top win, and the closer the fight gets to 175, the more I like Hopkins' chances.

I know I'm in the small minority here, but at 168-172 I like Hopkins (assuming he's close to form from Kovalev).

Golovkin doesn't possess the same style or characteristics or power that Kovalev had which most troubled Hopkins.

Most of this stems from, I believe, the collective delusion that Gennady is somehow more talented and powerful than Kovalev. He is neither.

I didn't say those things. That was from Golovkin's team last week.

like you said assuming hopkins hasn't lost anything he could be totally shot by now.
