Its no wonder Russia has been banned altogether from the Olympic games.

 

That cheat Chudinov has to be banned for life after this. An ATG middleweight champ could have been seriously injured by this cheating.

 

The CEO of Grant himself confirmed the gloves should not be flaking away and changing color like that. This is no laughing matter, Cheatinov could be facing a lengthy ban.

 

If the gloves were tainted with something it would affect both fighters. After all, Chudinov was holding those gloves to his face. This has to be the most idiotic excuse ever.

 

Exactly. I do think this point should be addressed. I have no clue why people are just brushing it under the carpet.

Just because Sturm got an undeserved victory, it doesn't mean it was right for Chudinov to cheat, even before the corrupt judges' decision was made.

 

It's not an idiotic excuse, there's a difference between holding it BY (not 'to') your face, and resting it on your face. If you're hitting someone, they're going to get the full dose of it.

Muhammad Ali suffered the same problem when his eyes were burning from an opponents gloves.
